We stream our Saturday Morning Music events on YouTube so that anyone who can't make it in person can still see the show. Our performers have the final say as to whether or not their performances are published here. Below are this year's past shows.

Simon Joslin 11th April 2026
Country Music legend Simon Joslin plays the UGT this Saturday morning. Outstanding vocalist/guitarist Simon sings all our favourite songs from Gordon Lightfoot to Glen Campbell and Garth Brooks to the Eagles all knitted together with a warm personality and witty repartee.
Diane & Steve Nevill + Stringles 4th April 2026
Another brilliant morning of music this Saturday morning with delightful folk duo Diane & Steve Nevill. Great voices, concertina, melodeon and acoustic guitar. In the second session we have The Stringles, a vocal/guitar and ukulele band with Jon, Fran, Jill and John bringing classic pop to life in a toe-tapping uplifting performance.
Emma Furlong & Stuart Bligh + Benita Johnson 21st March 2026
To start we have vocalist/guitarist Emma Furlong accompanied by the accomplished guitarist Stuart Bligh. Emma will be singing hit songs by top female artists from the 80s onwards. In the second session, talented singer songwriter Benita Johnson will be with us with her own individual style of wonderfully crafted songs.
The Jam Busters 7th March 2026
This Saturday morning sees the return of The Jam Busters to the UGT stage with their lively 60s rock and pop featuring The Stones and Hendrix. A revised line-up with Brian Baldy (vocals) Tony Burnett (drums & vocals) Dave Taylor (bass & vocals) with Steve and Tony on Keyboard and guitar.
Will Taylor + Mark Taylor 21st February 2026
Popular musician Kevin Barber... couldn't be with us and was replaced at short notice by Will Taylor. In the second session the exceptional Mark Taylor (guitar and vocals) performs an eclectic range of roots music, bluegrass rhythms, tinged with elements of folk, blues and Celtic music.
The Twagger Band 7th February 2026
This Saturday morning we have the best of traditional English Folk Music with superb musicians, The Twagger Band. An amazing array of instruments including concertinas, dulcimers, harp, bagpipes, fiddle, whistles, accordion, recorders, guitar, crumhorn and serpent. Talented musicians, Derrick Hughes, Sue Evans, Ian Chisholm, Joy Lewis, Keith Phillips and Tom Evans assure us a delightful morning of entertainment.
Stone's Throw 24th January 2026
We are delighted to have ‘Stone’s Throw’ back with us at the UGT this Saturday morning. Talented musical duo, Stuart & Aideen will be playing songs from around the world with influences including classical to jazz, folk, Irish Ballads and Country. Vocal harmonies blended with acoustic guitar, fiddle and accordion.
Black Strap Molasses 10th January 2026
We have the popular Black Strap Molasses at the UGT this Saturday morning with their delightful catalogue of songs, some poignant, some funny and all beautifully produced in a blend of vocals and instruments. Nick on Guitar/vocals, Melody on lead vocals, Jo on keyboard and Shaun on bass.
Twice Dailey + Kat Black & Mr. White 28th March 2026
More musical therapy this Saturday morning at the UGT with a blend of two popular vocal/guitar duos, Terry & Becky, aka ‘Twice Dailey’ with Kat Black & Mr. White (Andy Fricker) Vast catalogue of popular hit songs from 60’s onwards with ‘an eclectic musical Interlude through time. Just bring a smile.’ A great mornings’ entertainment.

+ Alex & Mary with Trevor & Aidan 14th March 2026
This Saturday we have acoustic guitar and vocals from the delightful Steph Innes with some wonderful ‘tunes’ and engaging wit. Then we have an extended session with accomplished accordion/guitar/vocal duo Alex & Mary joined by Trevor and Aidan playing hits from the 60s and 70s.
Southern Spirit 28th February 2026
The fabulous 6 piece band Southern Spirit bring us rock and blues this Saturday morning at the UGT. Mark Hurst on bass, Sam Mitchell on lead guitar, Matt Mitchell on Rhythm Guitar, Oli Sterno on drums, Dave George on Rhythm Guitar and Tick Crook on vocals.
The A & M Band 14th February 2026
Valentine's Day at the UGT and The A & M Band are with us to romance through the morning. Popular guitar/vocal duo Andy and Marilyn are joined by Pauline on percussion and Chrissie on bass bringing their unique blend of harmonies and instruments. Expect many favourite tracks from the 60s and 70s as well as some of their originals to carry us through a delightful morning of music.
The White Horse Folk Club 31st January 2026
The White Horse Folk Club from the Six Bells PH return to the UGT this Saturday morning. There will be folk, country, pop and more from some brilliant singers and musicians with ten or more artists performing short sets throughout the morning.
Tilsmore + Jim Murray 17th January 2026
UGT favourites Tilsmore are back! Acoustic guitar/vocal duo Jon and Beverly Healey play popular covers from folk, pop and country plus originals, interspaced with delightful humour and Jon’s legendary jokes. Next we have Jim Murray a founder member of ‘Hedgehog Pie’ with rich Geordie vocals, and a renowned stalwart of folk music.
